Formally known as The Shuttle Bar and then Oliver’s Bar the now named The Front Room underwent major re-development and a huge transformation in 2015.
The Front Room – aptly named as it’s development was partially funded by the Mechanics at HOME project, aspires to create a home from home atmosphere, a welcoming space to bring emerging artists, new theatre, comedy and niche performances more suitable to a smaller more intimate performance space.
Presenting a host of events ranging from Folk artists like John Smith and Steve Tilston through to blues rock bands like Willie and the Bandits, Aynsley Lister and Ferocious Dog along with comedy from Edinburgh Fringe festival’s favourite housewife Barbara Nice, comedy theatre shows and hilariously funny, interactive comedy dinner shows like Allo’ Allo’ and Fawlty Towers.
We work in partnership with Culturapedia to bring you an eclectic mix of events chosen by the people of Burnley, for the people of Burnley. From an evening of chilled Latino vibes to fantastic Jazz and Gin evenings.
