We are now part of Burnley Leisure Trust, a charitable trust set up to run leisure, arts and cultural services in the Borough. To support our work to bring emerging artists, new theatre and niche performances to the Mechanics we have recently completed major refurbishment work on our new ‘Front Room’ space. The Front Room is now the new home to an exciting programme of events where we will offer new and emerging artists, comedy and niche performances to a smaller audience in a more intimate performance space.

Look out on our Facebook page or sign up to our mailing list at the top of this page for all the latest news from the Mechanics including announcements about our new Front Room performances. We’re really excited about the future and all the new things we have planned for the 2017 season, we’d love as many people as possible to get involved and support their local theatre.

Front man Ricky said "We're looking forward to playing Burnley Mechanics. It's a venue with a great reputation and we're excited about bringing our music to a new audience".
They play a variety of music styles under the banner of rhythm and blues. Early Jamaican grooves are mixed in with the American to recreate the musical styles that were so much a part of the early Mod culture.
