Discover your passion – Arts, Sport, Heritage and Parks events in Burnley

Pointme.org.uk is Burnley’s local ‘What’s On’ website, bringing together events happening all over the town. From sports, parks and community events, to arts and heritage – you will find it all on Pointme.    You can search by date or keyword, view the calendar, search for group or event name, or even use the Discover tab to find something completely new.   Pointme is a great way to find out what is going on in Burnley.  Designed and built especially for Burnley, Pointme is an award-winning, unique resource provided for the local community.

Sports clubs, community groups, freelance practitioners and non-profit organisations are welcome to use the site to promote themselves and their clubs or events. Pointme is FREE and easy to use.  Just go to the home page and click Join.  Once you have created your profile you can start uploading events.  Your profile will take people straight to your website, Facebook page or other social media sites – instead of replacing any other online presence you have, Pointme is designed to add value, giving you the opportunity of free promotion specific to the local area.  If you don’t already have a website, Pointme is a great place to start.

If you would like any A4 posters or promotional cards (business card size) to use to promote the website in your venue please contact Rachel Hawthorn at rhawthorn@burnley.gov.uk and we’ll send some over.
