Colin Sanderson Theatre Bar

The Colin Sanderson Bar offers a full range of draught lines including Staropramen, San Miguel, Carlsberg, Thatchers Gold and Tetley Smooth plus three hand pulls where our resident brewery Reedley Hallows takes pride of place. A full complement of Spirits, soft drinks, continental bottles, Craft Ale, Cider and fruit Cider and our Byrnes of Clitheroe Wine List mean there’s something for everyone.

The Colin Sanderson Bar opens one hour before every performance, during an interval and throughout a standing music performance. On most occasions this bar will close after an interval and service will continue in the new Lounge Bar.

BEAT THE RUSH*

Intervals are always a busy time in the theatre so why not pre order your drinks before the show? Drinks can be pre-ordered from either the Lounge Bar or the Colin Sanderson Bar,  your drinks will then be ready at the interval  for you to collect and enjoy – no need to rush or wait at the bar.

*Please note interval drinks orders may not be available during certain shows where it is difficult to ascertain the length of the first half.

Why not hire the Colin Sanderson Theatre Bar for a private event from only £22 per hour? We host birthday parties celebrations, christenings, wakes and conferences. The bar is fully equipped with projector, screen, background music system and our very own Steinway Piano. To make an enquiry about hiring the space click here.

The latest artwork to be displayed in the Front Room is brought to you by Stephen Ormerod. His work showcases the industrial heritage of Burnley.
If you're interested in displaying your artwork in either the Front Room or Lounge Bar, get in touch! The space is available to local artists to exhibit their work, and there is still availability throughout 2017. It's free to have an exhibition but there is a (very reasonable) commission on any sales. Around 70,000 people came through the building in the past year with our busy Bistro and sell out shows so it's great exposure for the artwork.
If you would like to find out more please email Rachel Hawthorn at rhawthorn@burnley.gov.uk
