René & Edith

Covid Festive Comedy Dinner

Join us for a hilarious evening of pure theatrical comedy. After selling out at the Leicester Comedy Festival, Laughlines debuts ‘The Sitcom Experience’ at Burnley Mechanics Theatre for a special festive evening of comedy.

This dining experience evokes ‘Allo ‘Allo and is a hilarious evening of pure theatrical comedy and caricature. Listen very carefully… this is an evening of unforgettable 1940’s nostalgic comedy enter-tainment.

The cast, who bear an uncanny resemblance to René, Edith, Yvette, Lieutenant Gruber and friends, deliver a fast-paced evening of brilliant comedy entertainment.

The deadly Herr Flick of the Gestapo introduces his new viral warfare weapon, Henri Vintermans, Giant Corona Cigar, otherwise known as ‘Covit 69’ (It’s 69cm long and kills any man that has a puff).

Will Herr Flick be successful and eliminate everyone he despises and dominate the world? Or will Edith kill everybody off in the café with her singing? Will René get rid of them both and be crowned King of the Resistance and elope with Yvette?

Will Lieutenant Gruber have the last laugh and trap René in his little tank and drive off into the sunset with him?

Basil & Co.

Covid Festive Comedy Dinner

Don’t miss out! After previous sell-out shows at Prairie Sports Village, Britain’s longest running and no.1 Fawlty Towers inspired parody tribute act are coming to Prairie Sports Village for a special evening of comedy.

Basil Fawlty is your hapless hotel host for the evening, ensuring the venue is sterilised from top to bottom, fumigated sixteen times and has ordered vast quantities of PPE from Manuel and his special Spanish supplier.
What could go wrong? Will Sybil tolerateBasil’s extraordinary manic behaviour and hypochondria about hygiene?

In addition to enjoying a delicious 3-course meal, adhering to social-distance guidelines, the audience are guaranteed plenty of laughter, manic chaos, heaps of comedy, in a jaw-achingly hilarious show, with your safety and enjoyment at the top of the menu.
