Next Wednesday join us in Thompson Park for a Family Fun Day and a very 'Special Delivery.'
Bring a picnic and find out about some fantastic projects and events happening at Burnley Mechanics this Autumn and watch a free family show!
SPECIAL DELIVERY is a simple story about the delights of trying something unexpected. When a heavily laden postman is suddenly surprised by a rain shower he discovers that all his packages have lost their labels. In the process of trying to work out the intended recipients, he discovers a bit more about the people on his rounds - and decides to bring a little sunshine into all of their lives.
The show lasts 15 minutes, but there will also be some free craft activities and plenty of interesting and exciting things to find out about. Show times are 11.30am, 1.15pm and 2pm.
There will also be plenty of other activities going on in Thompson Park during the day including The Boathouse and Thompson Park Railway.
